Warranty & Return Policies
Warranty Policy
Central Coast Bicycles offers a Five-Year Limited Warranty on all bicycles sold, effective from the original date of purchase. This warranty provides customers assurance regarding the quality and craftsmanship of our products and reflects our commitment to customer satisfaction.
Central Coast Bicycle Frames and Forks are warranted against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for five (5) years from the original date of purchase.
All other components (including but not limited to handlebars, seat posts, and brake components) are warranted against manufacturing defects for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:

Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, or neglect, including impacts, falls, or improper maintenance.

Wear and tear associated with normal use, including tires, brake pads, cables, chains, and any other consumable parts.

Rust or corrosion resulting from exposure to moisture or harsh conditions.

Modifications made to the bicycle without the written approval of Central Coast Bicycles.

Damage caused by improper assembly or maintenance not performed by a professional service center.
Warranty Claim Process

Please include Proof of Purchase. Be prepared to provide a picture of the serial number, a copy of the original receipt, or proof of purchase to verify warranty coverage.
If your claim is approved, you may be asked to return the defective product for inspection. Central Coast Bicycles will provide instructions for return shipping.
Evaluation: Central Coast Bicycles will inspect the returned product to determine if it qualifies for warranty coverage. If approved, we will repair or replace the product at our discretion.
Limitation of Liability
Central Coast Bicycles' liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective product. In no event shall the Manufacturer be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the bicycle.
Governing Law
This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising under this warranty shall be resolved in accordance with applicable laws.
Warranty Transferability
This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser of the bicycle and is not transferable.

30-Day Return Policy
Thank you for purchasing from us! We want you to be completely satisfied with your bicycle purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, we offer a 30-day return policy, subject to the following conditions:

Return Period: You may return your bicycle within 30 days from the date of purchase for a full refund provided the bicycle is in its original condition.

Eligibility:

The bicycle must be unused or in like-new condition.

All original parts, accessories, and packaging must be included.

The bicycle must not show signs of wear, damage, or modification (e.g., scratches, dents, or assembly alterations).

Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.

To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at info@centralcoastbicycles.com within the 30-day return period.

You will be provided with instructions for returning the bicycle.

Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer. We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service with shipping insurance.

Refunds:

Upon receiving the returned bicycle and confirming it meets the return policy criteria, we will issue a refund, minus 5% for credit card processing fees, to your original payment method.

Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to process.

Exclusions:

Custom-built bicycles or bicycles that have been altered or assembled after purchase are not eligible for return.

Sale or clearance items are final sale and cannot be returned.

Defective Products: If your bicycle arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, please contact us immediately. We will work to resolve the issue by either providing a replacement or issuing a full refund.

Exchanges: If you prefer to exchange your bicycle for another model or size, please contact us within the 30-day period. Exchanges will be subject to availability.
