We’re super excited to announce Central Coast Bicycles cyclist, Bella Slosberg! We asked her to tell us a bit about herself, and here's what she shared:
Hello! I’m Bella Slosberg, and I’m so excited to represent Central Coast Bicycles and sport the new Quercus XC mountain bike. This year, I’ll be riding for Easton Overland as an off road athlete. With 2025 marking my first year on a professional cycling team, I couldn’t be more grateful to have found partners like Central Coast Bicycles that align so closely with my goals and values. I’m beyond thrilled to fully immerse myself in this new experience, relishing the highs, learning from the challenges, and celebrating those around me. This season is about showing up as my best self—not just in performance but in mindset, attitude, and how I uplift others.
While race results are great, my true motivation lies behind spreading positivity, getting more people on bikes, and making the cycling community a better place. I’m passionate about encouraging people to remember why they ride and the joy that bikes bring. It’s easy to get caught up in results, expectations, and comparison, but I’m choosing to shift my focus toward what truly matters: the joy of the process, the connections I make along the way, and the positivity I aim to bring to the cycling world.
For a bit about me, I’m a student at Cal Poly studying environmental science and an ultra endurance athlete. At 18 years old, I got into road cycling. By 19, I was fully hooked on gravel and starting to take on 100+ mile races. Throughout my time as a cyclist, I've battled with tying my worth as a person to my performance on the bike. It’s something I think a lot of athletes quietly struggle with. That pressure is exactly what led me to seek something deeper—a space within the sport where meaning isn’t dictated by numbers or comparison.
Over time I’ve found peace and purpose in ultra-endurance cycling, where success isn't defined by podiums or power numbers, but by grit, curiosity, and the willingness to explore the edges of what’s possible. I’ve found solace in the kind of distances that make people tilt their head and ask, “Are you serious?”
Currently, I’m gearing up for Unbound XL, where I’ll be the youngest person to tackle the 350 mile route! After Unbound, I can’t wait to dive into the mountain bike scene on the best mountain bike outhere. From 24 hour races to potentially even the Tour Divide, this season is all about exploring my limits, expanding my comfort zone, and evolving as both an athlete and a person. I couldn’t ask for a better ride—or better partners—to help bring these dreams to life.
Thanks, Bella! We can't wait to cheer you on in your upcoming events!
PS Here are some fun throwback photos, too!
